When I worked there, ChartPath was an Austin health IT firm building an electronic health record for senior nursing and post-acute care.
What I did
- Built an Axure prototype for lab orders, which physicians were still handling on pen and paper.
- Tested it in 7 usability sessions at physicians' offices with an early adopter group.
Outcome
- Time on physician lab orders fell 76%, against a hypothesis of 40%.
- Physician activation rose 40% with new onboarding.
- The prototype helped raise $2.5M.
